Discussing Family Traditions - Interactive Practice

Both Person A & B
Person A: Hi, my name is Rahul. I come from a family that values traditions. We have a tradition of celebrating Diwali, the festival of lights, with great enthusiasm.
Person B: Hi Rahul, nice to meet you. Can you tell me more about your Diwali traditions?
Person A: Sure! During Diwali, we decorate our house with lights and rangoli. We also exchange gifts and sweets with friends and family. In the evening, we perform a puja (prayer) to seek blessings from the goddess Lakshmi for prosperity and well-being.
Person B: That sounds beautiful. Do you have any other traditions in your family?
Person A: Yes, we also celebrate Holi, the festival of colors, with joy and fervor. We play with colors, dance to music, and enjoy festive foods together.
Person B: It must be wonderful to have such rich cultural traditions. Do you think you'll continue these traditions in the future?
Person A: Absolutely! These traditions are an integral part of our family's identity, and we hope to pass them on to future generations.
Person B: That's great to hear. Thank you for sharing, Rahul.
Person A: You're welcome. It was nice talking to you.
