Talking About Family Members - Interactive Practice

Both Person A & B
Person A: Hello, my name is Neha. I have a small family. My father's name is Ramesh. He works in a bank. My mother's name is Sita. She is a teacher. I also have a younger brother named Rohan. He is studying in school.
Person B: Hi Neha, nice to meet you. I'm Ravi. Can you tell me more about your family?
Person A: Sure, Ravi. We live in Mumbai. My father is the head of our family. He takes care of all of us and works hard to provide for our needs. My mother is very loving and kind. She teaches in a nearby school and takes care of our home. My brother Rohan is very playful and energetic. He loves playing cricket with his friends.
Person B: Your family sounds lovely, Neha. Do you all spend time together often?
Person A: Yes, we try to spend time together as much as possible. We have dinner together every night and sometimes go out for outings on weekends.
Person B: That's nice to hear. Family is important. Do you have any relatives living nearby?
Person A: Yes, we have some relatives living nearby. My grandparents live in the same city, and we often visit them on weekends. We also have some cousins who live nearby, so we get together for family gatherings sometimes.
Person B: It sounds like you have a close-knit family. Thank you for sharing, Neha.
Person A: You're welcome, Ravi. It was nice talking to you.
